Pe'bat! Valkuţi is an a priori language intended for an ancient draconic race with mild inspiration from a blend of European and East Asian languages. Its writing system is best described as an alphabet. Valkuţi has 22 consonants and 7 vowels.
Basic Morphology
Valkuţi is a highly inflected language, strongly preferring suffixes to prefixes and rare usage of particles. Nouns have three classes (two animate and one inanimate), which decline for up to nine cases.  Inanimate nouns cannot take the subject role in a sentence with an animate direct object and must be put in the passive voice. Sentences with no animate subject or object are treated as Ergative-Absolutive. Valkuţi verbs have various root forms but their conjugation is decidedly regular.  Valkuţi has a simple plurality system.
Basic Syntax
The basic word order in Valkuţi is VSO but order is not tightly regulated, as nominal cases directly indicate the subject and object of the sentence. Valkuţi is a pro-drop language. Adjectives precede the nouns they modify. Adjectives and prepositions precede the words they describe while adverbs follow them.
